Tresa Jo Wilson
Tresa Jo Wilson was born October 26, 1950, and grew up on a farm in southern Indiana She entered into eternal rest on Aug. 26th, 2013.
She is the precious wife of Ronald Byrd, cherished daughter of Anne Wilson and loving and proud mother of Ryan Wilson-Sullivan and mother-in-law to Kristen Janell Sullivan. She is also survived by siblings Shirley (Steve) Swarthout and Loran (Kathy) Wilson; one nephew, four nieces and one great-niece. In her heart she holds the love of her father, Bascom Wilson, who preceded her in death.
Tresa received degrees from University of Evansville and Indiana University and became a beloved music teacher to thousands in the southern Indiana and St. Charles regions, doing most of her teaching in the Francis Howell School District. After retirement from teaching, Tresa founded and directed the St, Charles County Youth Choir for 7½ years when her health caused her to discontinue.
