Meet the Clinicians
Trent Buglewicz, Director
Trent Buglewicz is a vocal music teacher at Linn-Mar High School in Marion, IA, where he has spent the first twelve years of his career. In addition to directing the advanced mixed chorus, Chamber Singers, since the fall of 2020, Trent also conducts Linn-Mar’s bass chorus, Fortis, and one of the school’s treble choruses, Cantemus. Trent’s choirs have performed at two MWACDA conventions in 2020 and 2024, as well as the National Convention in Dallas, TX in 2025. Outside of curricular choir, Trent is the director of Linn-Mar’s extracurricular varsity show choir, Tenth Street Edition. He received his Bachelor’s Degree in Music Education from the University of Nebraska–Lincoln in 2014 and now lives in Cedar Rapids with his brilliant, kind, and creative wife, Lexi Robson-Buglewicz, who he is endlessly thankful for. Trent avidly enjoys watching the Yankees play baseball, struggles to play golf, and loves his students and colleagues at Linn-Mar High School.

For safety reasons, all rehearsals are closed to the public. Only those who are official chaperones or registered members of the conference (including single day registration) are allowed in the rehearsal space. Please help us maintain the safety of our singers by adhering to these requirements.
For liability reasons, members are not supposed to be official chaperones. But in the event that there was no other option, members still need to register for the conference. Thank you for supporting the organization that supports these ensembles!
