Connie Mulligan, Director
Bobby Picker, Choreographer
Connie has been a music educator and show choir Director for over 30 years. She recently took an early retirement from teaching and left her Midwest roots to now reside in the Nashville area. Connie spent over half of her career in the Mt. Zion, IL school district where she directed many award-winning groups along with the Mount Zion, Swingsations. Throughout her career, she had the opportunity to serve as the director for outstanding groups like the Pekin Noteables, the Sullivan Singers, Decatur Elite Energy, and Chatham-Glenwood. Connie grew up in the Midwest and received her degree at Eastern Illinois University. During her time in Central Illinois Connie has “worn many hats”and is grateful for the various opportunities and experiences. Some highlights include directing and choreographing for musicals/show choir productions, summer camp clinician, directing/choreographing for the Decatur Park Singers program, along with serving as the Company Manager for The Little Theater on the Square in Sullivan, IL., owning a formal wear store and serving as an adjudicator/clinician for various show choir events.
Connie is enjoying spending quality time with her family and her two sweet dogs. Although life took a slightly different turn this year, she is still staying involved in the show choir community by serving as a clinician/consultant, adjudicator and enjoys costuming many performing groups.
Bobby currently works as a freelance choreographer and clinician across the US. In addition to Choreography, he serves as the Assistant for the Troy Buchanan High School show choirs. Lastly, Bobby serves as an Associate Producer for Heart of America.
Bobby is an Equity singer/dancer and has performed all across the United States. He has performed for Disney World, Universal Studios, Carnival Cruise Lines, The Muny St. Louis, Six Flags, Matt Davenport Productions, Holiday World, Entertainment Central, and many more! Bobby attended Webster University and Lindenwood University, where he studied Musical Theatre.

Note: MCDA does not offer refunds in the event the student cannot attend.
For safety reasons, all rehearsals are closed to the public. Only those who are official chaperones or registered members of the conference (including single day registration) are allowed in the rehearsal space. Please help us maintain the safety of our singers by adhering to these requirements.
For liability reasons, members are not supposed to be official chaperones. But in the event that there was no other option, members still need to register for the conference. Thank you for supporting the organization that supports these ensembles!
